We just came across this great video of a kid in East LA who spends his summers at his dad’s auto supply store. Instead of just playing video games and watching TV he decided to take some of the old cardboard boxes that were at the shop and used them to build his own game arcade.
His name is Caine and his games are part of Caine’s Arcade. He’s very creative and devised a system of tickets, tokens and prizes. Kudos to his dad for fostering this type of creativity and thanks to the filmmaker for documenting Caine’s project.
There is now a website setup to help foster Caine’s creative side and there is an opportunity for people to donate to his college fund. Check it out! Caine’s Arcade

The donations have reached over $60,000 at this point. So amazing what people will do for each other.
