In addition to the drone battles, the Aerial Sports League had setup a drone racing arena. It looked like a golf driving range or sports cage with netting on all sides and the top to prevent any drones from flying off.
The drone track was setup as a figure out with gates at the corners and a center tower that required racers to quickly change altitude.
Check out the video of a race in action. There were a lot of crashes and a few times every single drone was caught in the net which slowed the action down, but the announcer kept the energy up.
