DIY Play Kitchen

Our friend Ginger surprised her son this Christmas with a DIY play kitchen. He’s loving it and it took a bit of time and energy to make this play kitchen but it only cost about $25 in materials and because she built it herself she could customize it any way she wanted too.

Here’s the rundown:

She bought a used desk for $8 at thrift store.
Faucet and sink, random kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, pans all came from thrift store.
Play kitchen pans, plates and pots were from older unused sets.
Used left over knobs and handles from a previous project
New pot holders and hooks, hinges.
Cut new microwave door, oven door and burners out of wood and painted
Project total about $25.00

Have you ever built a play kitchen? We’d love to see it!
