Children and adults both view movie posters in awe. They are larger than life and are usually the first piece of art we ever hang in our rooms. The For The Win Project, from our friend Jaimie Trueblood, gives children in special circumstances the chance to be their favorite heroes in their very own and very real movie poster. They create a new sense of hope, motivation, and give a self-esteem boost for each child.

From the Hulk to Batman to Darth Vader, Jaimie and his team at The For The Win Project can make any child’s dream of becoming a superhero come to life.

They are starting with children on movie posters but plan on immersing the heroes in their own worlds with movie trailers, comic books, album covers, virtual reality, and more. They have also setup parties where children can come dressed as their favorite superhero and meet other superheroes as well as be with their friends and families.

Jaimie is a professional photographer, who recently applied his skills to a higher calling with his new endeavor. He is a father to four amazing boys, and has always had a home studio setup where he could photograph them as themselves or whatever characters they could imagine. His family has always worked closely with children in need by donating toys to children’s hospitals and getting celebrities to give kids shoutouts through his Reindeer Project.
